With a background in business management and visual design I strive to find the harmony between business needs, user needs and an aesthetic design.
Understanding the product, the user and the influence of design is why I love being in product design. The idea the design is to remain informed and intentional to assist and truly shape a thoughtful product experience. From initial discovery and user research to implementation and consistent testing. Testing of both information architecture, and interactions through prototypes.
After I have fully understood the mental model of the user and begin to design I ensure that the design remains informed and reflective of findings and continues to be tested. I love balancing the visual and interactive components and the usability of a product. maintaining an aesthetic design wile remaining useful.
Although I focus on the usability of my products by prioritizing the over all structure and user flow. The part of me who's focus was on visual elements for so long, does love to dabble in the creation of assets and visual elements to enhance the user's experience and add a bit of delight into the product.
I have come from a business management background however I do not believe only those in leadership are responsible for coaching or adding to the growth of those around them. Raising the bar together is only done if one takes the time to bring others on the journey. Learning from those around me and sharing expertise and knowledge is a great passion of mine
